You just pass me by. You know that you do.
Dismissed and ignored. Written off. “So lame!”
Just seen as a joke or a Mary Sue.

A nonentity around Baker Street,
Most players won’t even bother to look.
We know what characters you want to meet,
Favorites from movies, TV, and books.

And don’t get me started on time in games
The life of an OC can be a bore!
Sometimes I think I should change my own name
To Coulson, Winchester, or Salvatore.

Why do I bother with this agony?
Simply because I’m happy to be me.
